How To Bypass FRP On Alcatel Android Devices

 

The term FRP is so popular nowadays since a large number of Android users are on the latest Android operating system. FRP-Factory Reset Protection is a security feature on Android 5 Lollipop+ devices that is triggered when a device with a synchronized Google account is reset via the recovery menu/fastboot.

The device automatically flags it as a theft or an insecure action. So, after the reset, the device will prompt for the most recent synchronized Google account to be verified. It protects your device from unauthorized access but unfortunately, it can be bypassed.

You can also reset FRP on MTK devices including some Alcatel, on Samsung devices, on SPD devices like Itel and on Gionee Android devices. Below is a comprehensive guide on how to bypass FRP on an a good number of Alcatel Android devices.

In the tutorial below, I am going to bypass FRP on an Alcatel 4060A. This method can be applied on other Alcatel devices with Android 5 Lollipop, 6 Marshmallow and even 7 Nougat. This works on Alcatel One Touch, Pixi, Idol etc devices.

How To Bypass FRP On Alcatel Android Devices

 

This steps have been tested on a good number of Alcatel devices with Qualcom CPU. If you weren’t able to run along with the tutorial, please let us know via the comments box.

  1. Turn on your Alcatel device, e.g Alcatel 4060A and connect it to a nearby Hotspot.
  2. As soon as the connection is established, disconnect the Hotspot and wait for your device to display connection failed/not available.
  3. Continue the setup and when prompted to setup a lock screen, setup one and restart your device.
  4. In the lock screen, open the music app(Google Play Music) and enter the screen lock to proceed.
  5. Click on the options tab, selectHelp & Feedback.
  6. SelectOpen source licences
  7. Press and hold any text on the screen.
  8. Tap on theSearchicon at the top right.
  9. Type File manager and open theFile managerfrom the search results.
  10. Download and copy Quick Shortcut Maker to your device via a PC.
  11. Open theFile Managerand then install the QSM-Quick Shortcut Maker APK.
  12. Open the QSM app.
  13. Scroll down to Google Account Managerand select the Google Account Manager (Type Email and Password)
  14. Click onTry
  15. A window will open with an option to enter your password. Click on the 3 dots at the top right, selectBrowser sign-inand clickOK
  16. In the next window, enter a working Google Account Email and password, then tap on Sign-in
  17. If the email and password you entered is valid, it will sign in and then return you back to the QSM app.
  18. Restart your device and you have successfully bypassed FRP on your Alcatel Android device.

 

Note:This method may not work on all Alcatel Android devices(Qualcom/MTK) due to device specific differences. If you are able to get to any point listed in the steps, you can then continue with the FRP bypass.

The most important thing is to get access to the Google App in your device. Below are working methods to access Google Search App on most Alcatel devices. If you get access to the Google App, continue from STEP: 8 above.

  • TapEmergency, press and hold the Home button to launch Google App.

 

How To Bypass FRP On Alcatel Android Devices

 

  1. Turn on your Alcatel device, e.g Alcatel 4060A and connect it to a nearby Hotspot.

  13. SelectSet up managed profileand click SET UP > SET UP > OK
  14. You will now see a notification:Setting up your work profileand after a while, it will return you back to the file manager.
  15. Now press and hold the power button, thenRestartyour device.
  16. When your device restarts, selectSKIP and clickNextand thenFINISH.
  17. Do the other minor setups and you just bypassed FRP on your Alcatel Android device.

 

How To Bypass FRP On Alcatel Android Devices

 

This method of bypassing FRP on Alcatel devices is very efficient on devices with new security patch where other FRP bypass methods doesn’t work.

  1. Turn on your Alcatel device, e.g Alcatel 5010X and connect it to a nearby Hotspot.
  2. Click onAdd network
  3. In the space to enter the network SSID, type some letters, press and hold it to highlight and then tap on 3 dots that would appear at the top.
  4. SelectAssist.
  5. Google App should now launch to assist you in bypassing the FRP. Now tap on the search box and enter file manager, then select file manager from the search results.
  6. Download and copy Quick Shortcut Maker to your device via a PC.
  7. Open theFile Managerand then install the QSM-Quick Shortcut Maker APK.
  8. Open the QSM app.
  9. Scroll down to Google Account Managerand select the Google Account Manager (Type Email and Password)
  10. Click onTry
  11. A window will open with an option to enter your password. Click on the 3 dots at the top right, selectBrowser sign-inand clickOK
  12. In the next window, enter a working Google Account Email and password, then tap on Sign-in
  13. If the email and password you entered is valid, it will sign in and then return you back to the QSM app.
  14. Restart your device and you have successfully bypassed FRP on your Alcatel Android device.

 

How To Bypass FRP On Alcatel Android Devices

 

This method mostly work on devices with Android 5 Lollipop and older security patch. Even if you don’t know the security patch level/dateon your FRP locked Alcatel, you can give it a shot. It actually works, so try it.

 

  • Turn on yourAlcateldevice and connect it to a nearby Hotspot.
  • Click onAdd network
  • In the space to enter the network SSID, type some letters, press and hold it to highlight and then tap on 3 dots that would appear at the top.
  • SelectAssist.
  • Google App should now launch to assist you in bypassing the FRP. Now tap on the search box and enter file manager, then select file manager from the search results.
  • Type Settingsin the search box and then open the settings app from the results.our device.
  • Go toBackup and reset > Factory data reset > Reset Phone > Erase Everything
  • When your device boots up, FRP might have been removed/bypassed depending on the security patch date or Android version on your device.
