HTC M10 – Power Of 10 Specs And Review.

Htc M10 Specs And Review

The most anticipated smartphone that was talked about in so many leaks has been officially announced. Its expected to be release in May, 2016.

Like HTC rightly said, its gonna be a world first. Wow! That was a great leap forward. After going through the phone’s specs and official videos, I must admit, it’s the best all-rounder smartphone.

Why ? In every area of it specifications and features like audio, video, camera etc, it has the very best. Now lets go into details.(Major Features)

When it comes to sound/audio, the Htc 10 will satisfy your music needs in the best and most professional ways available.

With the M10, you will surely get the best sound from both the loudspeakers and the headphones.
Like its M predecessors, the BoomSound is still retained but upgraded.

It has BoomSound Hi-fi speakers with a separate tweeter and subwoofer. The normal speaker is at the top while the woofer is close to the Usb Type-C port. Playing your favorite songs from the loudspeaker is so full. The M10 has Hi-Res Audio certification. It has a built-in headphone amplifier that doubles in power against a conventional headphone amplifier. With an extra ability to upscale from 16-bit to 24-bit audio, music lovers will certainly not want to pause the music playback.

The M10 also has audio personalisation to suite your individual needs.

As expected, it it baked in Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This time, Htc has reduced the number of pre-loaded apps which might sometimes be seen as bloatwares. There’s also a special addition which is the Freestyle layout mode. With this, you no longer use the onscreen grid that points where you place apps and widgets. Its freestyle this time around. You can layer the apps and widgets, group them and even add stickers to make the whole stuff fun-filled.

Another noticeable addition is the Boost+ feature. Its a kindof task manager and a booster. Helps take care of the phones power, ram, speed(gameplay) plus an app lock functionality. With all that Android Marshmallow has to offer, the Htc 10 is a perfect launch pad.

It has a 5.2-inch Super LCD 5 display with curved-edge Gorilla Glass, and a resolution of 2560 x 1440. Apart from the great increase in resolution, HTC says the M10’s display is 30% more colorful and 50% more responsive to touch than its predecessor. This would surely make good sense to a new user or someone coming from the M9 to the M10.

Beneath the display is the capacitive home button which is also the fingerprint reader or sensor. According to HTC, the fingerprint reader will be able to recognise your finger from almost an angle. Like seriously, the precision is really cool.

HTC has been known to use top-notch processors in all of their flagshis. And now its the M10, you shouldn’t expect something dissimilar. The M10 is governed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, supported by a massive 4 Gigabytes of RAM. It comes in both 32 and 64GB variants, plus support for a microSD card (up to 2 terabytes in size) if you need more storage allowance.

HTC had already said something spectacular about the M10’s camera. According to Htc, its gonna be a world first. The rear-facing camera is a 12MP UltraPixel 2 sensor, with laser autofocus, a 1.55µm pixel size, optical image stabilization (OIS), and an f/1.8 aperture. The camera can actually launch within 0.6 seconds. With the second-generation laser autofocus, the camera’s focus is ultra fast. With what we have seen so far, there wont be any disappointment when the phone gets released.

The front facing camera of the Htc M10 is a 5MP “UltraSelfie” camera as well, with a pixel size of 1.34µm, OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. Wide-angle lens plus screen flash is added to make selfie taking fun filled, beautiful and enticing.

The M10 has a non-removable 3,000mAh battery. It doesn’t support wireless charging but comes with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 which can give you a 50% charge in only 30 minutes. The M10 uses USB Type-C which is trendy.

The HTC 10 will be released soon in two soC variants. One with the snapdragon 820 and the other with the snapdragon 652 chip. Both will have same design, audio, camera and similarities in software and other features like battery life. More gists will be out as soon as the Power of 10 is Officially released.
